Whole Children™ is our after-school and Saturday program for kids and teens of all abilities from ages 3-18.

Milestones Recreational is an extension of our Whole Children™ program for adults 18 and up.

Milestones Day is our DDS funded day program for adults.

Whole Selves™ is our healthy relationships curriculum designed for students with intellectual disabilities (ID) and autism. It can also be used with students of any ability.

Meet Whole Children™ and Milestones!

At Whole Children™ and Milestones, children, teens, and adults have the freedom to pursue their interests, build skills, and develop deep friendships in our classes. 

We offer weekly after-school and Saturday classes at our Inclusive Community Center in Northampton, MA. All classes are taught by skilled instructors and most classes have a student-to-teacher ratio of 3:1 or less.

Whole Children’s™ mission is to provide recreational, social, skill-building and enrichment classes for children and teens up to 18, specifically designed for those with disabilities and/or autism. We’ve successfully provided this service for over two decades, creating a place where the people we serve are welcomed and respected.

Milestones Recreation, our adult afternoon and Saturday program is supported by Whole Children™ and provides a similar experience to Whole Children™. This program was created as our individuals grew out of Whole Children™. Alongside enriching and fun classes, Milestones Recreation helps individuals learn more about building healthy relationships.

Milestones Day is our adult day program funded by the Department of Developmental Services (DDS). Call 413-585-8010 for more information on how to enroll.

Autism Connections, Family Empowerment and Milestones Rec are excited to host our first collaborative Inclusive Community Center event, Speed-Friending! This event is for adults 18+ who are interested in meeting new people, socializing and potentially making some new friends. To register for the event please fill out the form here. Grab your dancing bears, Friendsgiving is back! Join the Friendship Band and Mind Left Body at the Iron Horse for a night of Grateful Dead tunes and Friendship Band favorites. Your ticket does double duty: a great time for you, and support for the performing arts programs at Whole Children™ and Milestones.

Join us for an in-person and all-ages movie night at the ICC! We’ll pop the corn, dim the lights and have a blast! Enjoying a film together is a great way to build community and deepen friendships, so come watch a fun film, laugh together and make some great memories! Feel free to bring a blanket or plushie to get cozy. Movie will be announced.
